StepBridge UK reopened on Sunday 11 October 2026 as an independent club, carried by its members. StepBridge has run the online bridge club of the Netherlands since 2001 and StepBridge UK since 2020. Three tournament evenings a week, free to play, open to everyone who enjoys a hand of bridge.

Sabi Tournament — 14 boards

New: an individual tournament. You play on your own, with Sabi, our bridge robot, as partner and both opponents. Everyone gets the same boards and the same robots, and the ranking compares your results with all other players. Seven quick rounds of two boards, done by 20:15.

How to join

Members: log in to StepBridge as usual and sign up for a tournament; entry is free. Forgotten your password? Click "Forgot password" when you log in. New here? Request a trial membership and we'll send you your login details. And bring a friend: the more of us at the table, the better the game.

New on FridaysMeet Sabi, our bridge robot

Sabi is ready to play day and night, also outside tournament hours. Practise at your own pace, with no waiting and no audience — mistakes are fine, you can undo anything, and the boards don't count towards anything. And don't underestimate Sabi — it plays at the level of an advanced bridge player, so it's also a great way to train bidding and defence together with your partner. On Fridays Sabi partners everyone in the Sabi Tournament.
